2020 is sure to make human history. However, with the arrival of the vaccine, 2021, when we had high hopes, did not go our way. We are not saying goodbye very well to 2021 after the events of the coronavirus crisis that humanity could not get rid of and the dozering of November over our economy. The other downside is that we don’t have a lot of games to stress out this month.
Still, we have many reasons to look forward to 2022. We also want you to enjoy the games we shared with you in December. Let’s see if you can find something on this list.
Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker (PC, PS4, PS5) – December 7
One of the “later” success stories of the gaming world, Combining the world of Final Fantasy 14. FF on an MMORPG brought to mind money-printing machines, but when the game debuted, it almost failed. Success in recent years can be exhausted by both additional packages and updates to the game.
That’s going to be one of those additional packages, Endwalker. The new additional package, which will pick up where Shadowbringers left off, will have 30 percent more stories and interplays than its predecessor. For some reason, the developer team prefers to focus on these two data. That’s how they might be trying to tell us that annoying surprises await us in the new phase of the story.
Naoki Yoshida has previously said endwalker will have the same number of dungeons as Shadowbringers. But This time, Yoshida stresses, they are focused on the contents of these dungeons. Two new business line of business will be added to the game along with the new additional package.
Halo Infinite (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – December 8

Halo Infinite, which has only just released the multiplayer section, reminded us once again of the power of the feeling of “longing”. Many “breached” Halo players continue to fight in all kinds of arenas at the moment. But for those wondering what will happen in the script part of the game, the adventure is just beginning.
All we know about the story part of the game is that we’re going after an artificial intelligence known as “Weapon.” With Master Chief, it’s up to us to save the world again. As you know, an open world awaits us in the new game. We are also curious to see how this concept, which now scares many players instantly, will be fed into the halo world.
The multiplayer part, which will be completely free, seems to be Halo’s answer to competitive FPS games. So a legend will be at war with a new generation.
Syberia: The World Before (PC) – December 10

Many of our readers, who are a little older, will remember the name Syberia. Released in 2004, this action-adventure game is about how Kate Walker’s standard life quickly went off the rails. The game, which has its own cult audience, finally gets the sequel it deserves.
The biggest change the new game will make will be the characters. In Syberia: The World Before, we’ll play both Kate Walker and Dana Roze. In 1937, we’re going to have to make a connection between Dana and Kate, a 17-year-old pianist. Of course, for this we will follow the ways of “using the time”, which we have started to see in all games in recent years.
Let’s not forget Benoit Sokal, one of the names that 2021 took away from us. Sokal, the original creator of Syberia, died in May 2021.
Shortly after we prepared this article, it was announced that Syberia: The World Before was postponed until the first quarter of 2022. It’s not nice to hear the news of the postponement days before the game’s release, but we found it more appropriate to add this warning rather than remove it from the list.
The Gunk (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – December 16
{ogzvideo|type:ytb|id:Cs96h12uHiE}
A mix of some Astroneers, some Ico, some Slime Rancher and a pinch of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Gunk will be one of the most interesting games of the month. Many dangerous events will be waiting for us as we try to reinvigorate a planet where our spaceship crashed.
In fact, it would be more accurate to describe The Gunk’s story as “Wall-E Simulator”. For now, we know that two characters who fall on a planet will share the story of cleaning up the planet. This cleansing will begin with the elimination of black and liquid residues called “Gunk”. With the broom-like device we have, we can collect these black algae and clean the “Gunk”, which causes the planet to become out of breath.
Of course, I believe there will be various twists involved. Still, it’s certainly the Gunk that should be given a chance this month.
Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo (PC) – December 16
{ogzvideo|type:ytb|id:nkqqANIXFdQ}
I’ve always had a cold attitude towards movie games. The real reason for this fear, which dates back to the old NES days, is that there are not many movie games that I believe are really very good. Based on Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, let’s see if this game can change the tide.
I don’t want to mention it because the story will be the mainstath of this game, it’s actually too much. But let me point out that our main story is about a character with vertigo. One of the key figures in Hitchcock’s filmography is how it will look in a game.
Another interesting detail is that the distributor of the game is a French developer named Microids. Microids is also the developer of Syberia: The World Before.
