After a busy September, we are preparing to say hello to an October full of FPS. This month we will be expecting a new generation of FPS, nostalgic games and a disappointment. Before we get any more of a word, let’s take a look at the games that excite us in the new month.
Call of Duty: Vanguard (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – November 5
The next generation of Call of Duty is now just days away from debuting. As always, Call of Duty: Vanguard has had successful beta processes and will appeal to the multiplayer hunger of FPS enthusiasts. This time, the game, which will take us to the Second World War, is preparing to attract attention with its different storytelling.
We say different because one of the things Activision focuses on the most is the story of the game. Small gameplay footage shows this story in its usual Call of Duty explosiveness. We’ll now have the opportunity to see new mechanics in story mode, which will include plenty of action. For example, we had the opportunity to see our character climb a lot in the trailer. The developer also promised to bring us to many fronts that changed the course of the Second World War.
The main change in multiplayer mode will be zombie mode. The zombie mode, which normally comes a year apart, will also be available in Vanguard this time. Let’s also mention that this multiplayer mode with 20 maps will affect Warzone, the new breeding cow of the Call of Duty realm.
Forza Horizon 5 (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – November 9

As much as I’m a keen FPS enthusiast, the game I’m most interested in this month is Forza Horizon 5. The game, which I have been looking forward to since the first images were released, is preparing to take us to every climate and weather event in Mexico. For the first time in The History of Forza!
The developer team, which hovers over Mexico in every trailer released, has prepared every surprise for us. You can visit the rainforest, drift on volcanic ash, or dust off an asphalt in the middle of the desert with your car close to the ground. Speaking of cars, it’s safe to say that Forza Horizon 5 comes with a huge list. This time it looks like it will be able to attract car enthusiasts to it, Forza.
For the first time, the game will also want to appeal to different bodies with Arcade modes, and from its first day it will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch) – November 11

I don’t know how possible it is to tell a classic that touched all of our lives. But I can’t wait to meet Tommy Vercetti and Lance Vance as soon as possible. Maybe it’s going to be amazing to experience the streets of Vice City in high definition, which I know much better than where I live.
Of course, the first trailer that was released brought controversy. While many players are not happy with the updates, I can personally say that I am glad that the spirit of the game has not changed. Rockstar’s already been as faithful as possible to the basic DNA of this trilogy. GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas, which will be remakes, comes to us to relive our childhood memories.
Rockstar will not hold back from removing this revamped trio on every platform except Stadia. The trilogy, which will even debut on the Nintendo Switch, will also debut on iOS and Android platforms in 2022.
Battlefield 2042 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – November 19

While I’m not a keen Battlefield fan, I can’t take the pleasure I get from Battlefield V in particular from most games. The CoD and Battlefield series, which always act like two kids fighting each other, are likely to cause a stir by debuting in the same month. But this time, Battlefield will stick to the huge sense of war that has proclaimed itself for the first time in its history.
Battlefield 2042 will not have scenario mode, according to official descriptions, and will instead focus solely on the multiplayer experience. With this change, we have the opportunity to see many innovations on the battlefield. For example, as the trailers focus on, all of the maps will be the scene of dynamic weather conditions. In the midst of a conflict, you’ll be able to fall victim to a tornado or lose your enemies because of diminished visibility. Battlefield 2042, which will act with the slogan “Bigger, better”, also makes the battlefields much wider.
Let’s see who wins in the match between these two giants…
Evil Genius 2: World Domination (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) – November 30

When Evil Genius 2 was first announced, I was one of the most excited. I even buried long hours in the PC version for the review of the game. The game, which is a great disappointment to me, is finally preparing to debut on consoles.
Unfortunately, World Domination, which can’t put much on the first game, at some point becomes boring, but I would say it’s a strategy game that should be given the opportunity. With both its humorous side and its “base building” structure that will relax your head, it will allow lovers of this type of games to have a pleasant time. But at some point, it’s worth noting that the game ran out of fuel.
I hope the game can create an audience for itself on consoles.
