In September 2021, there was a massive leak centered on Nvidia. Accordingly, a web developer who tampered with Nvidia’s GeForce Now app had found a way to access a list of all the games in the GFN database. So far, everything sounds normal, but this database even lists games that have not yet been announced for GeForce Now streaming support.
At first we thought they were placeholder names, but then Nvidia issued a statement on the leak, saying that the list was “made up of both published and speculative names, which they use for internal monitoring and testing processes.” They didn’t deny the games on the list, they just didn’t confirm it.
However, the biggest sign that this list was correct was the successive announcements. Speculative games have been announced and we have come to this day.
There are still some big names on the list that haven’t been announced yet. Below you can see the games discovered at the time and not announced as of September. Games that I marked in bold and then announced and/or exited. For example, we first saw PC versions of God of War and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in this list, and pc versions of both games were not yet announced at the time.
