Max Payne, pictured on July 23, 2001, recently celebrated his 20th birthday. So we decided to devote our Who’s corner to him.
“Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce Max Payne, the man with the highest number of gangster corpses in New York. Dear guests, prepare to die!” Vladimir Lem made this galleas introduction in Max Payne 2. I wanted to use it directly because there was no attempt for Max to rise above it. 20 years ago, the name Max Payne came into our lives. Then three games, lots of painkillers and uninterrupted pain.
The American Dream is really a dream for most people. But when it comes to Sam Lake, who has pocketed a gloomy outlook from Finland, the dream suddenly turns into a nightmare. New York, constantly dapping people’s eyes with its pomp, suddenly turns into a monster. And max payne is born to defeat this monster. Max and Max, who lost their wife and child from the first episode, are on screen vowing revenge. That’s when max payne and I bonded 20 years ago. It’s not over until Max says it’s over.
It sums up the emergence of “Maximum Pain”, max, very well. Max Payne, son of Jack and Helen, Michelle(pictured), husband and Rose & Amp;Father, was one of the NYPD’s successful and truly clean cops before his life changed. But since there won’t be a game of happy family like this, the trouble gets on Max’s back and never leaves him on the brazilian beaches. The pain was just beginning for Max, who saw depression on comic book panels after finding his wife and child dead.
At the end of the first play, as we were done with the Valkyr case and Aesir’s head Nicole Horne, a whole new journey began with Mona Sax. As we woke up from the American Dream, Mona and I were once again experiencing the sadness of losing Mona because max, who had tasted love, would always be black. Max, who left his post due to the “body count” in the first two games, was constantly drinking and suffering, and suddenly he was going to Brazil and max and I were disappearing on the streets of Sao Paulo. In Brazil, we’ve learned that there’s no time or place for pain for Max, who’s in pain for whatever he puts his hand on.
During Bullet Time, time slowed down and flowed like water for us. Max Payne games celebrating his 20th birthday. Max, who was born in 1964, was born in July and turned 57. The last time we left him was nine years ago on the beaches of Brazil in his slippers. For the sake of your sour face, you have to cut a lemon cake for your birthday. The real Max Payne will always be Sam Lake, even though he comes across three different faces in three different games. Happy birthday, Brother Max, don’t turn around, the sunlight from Brazil is good for your bones, the New York damp doesn’t deserve you anymore.
Max’s Alternative End Sam Lake, who was inspired by Scandinavian mythology, was designing the universe, but let me add a little anecdote, whether Max thought of a Valhalla at the end of his journey. Rockstar missed Max in the third game to South America, while Sam Lake’s dream Max Payne put the end to Alan Wake. We learned this through a surprise egg in the voice of James McCaffrey(who voiced Max) for three plays. According to the story called The Sudden Stop, Max was going to his family 13 years after his revenge. We suffered a lot in Brazil because Rockstar couldn’t eat bread from here. |
