The Twisted Metal series, the third project of Sony’s PlayStation games to the screen, continues to expand its cast every day. Although we do not understand how it came to a series from the cars that tried to blow each other up in the first place, the studio sets out with a very ambitious team. The last big name of the cars to collide was Will Arnett.
We remember Sweet Tooth, the iconic character of the game series, with the clown mask he wore and the beautifully modified ice cream truck he used. Arnett, who previously worked as a voice actor in Ice Age: The Meltdown, Ratatouille, Despicable Me, The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Movie and BoJack Horseman, will also be one of the producers of Twisted Metal.
In the senaroy, written by Michael Jonathan Smith, one of the creators of Cobra Kai, we will also watch names like Anthony Mackie. The series, which will meet the viewers through the Peacock streaming service, does not yet have an official broadcast date.
