S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has only been announced for PC with Xbox Series, and it’s a question of whether the game will come to PlayStation 5 in the future.
Speaking to GamingBolt, developer GSC Game World said they currently have no plans for the PlayStation 5 version and have seen some good deals, including Xbox Game Pass, as a result of their negotiations with Microsoft. The game will be included in Xbox Game Pass from day one on the console.
The allegedly leaked Microsoft documents indicate that the game will come to PlayStation 5.
These documents, part of an ongoing lawsuit between Apple and Epic Games and dated August 2020, say that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be a console exclusive for three months. This means that the game can come to PlayStation 5 three months after it debuts.
The documents call the estimated release date of the game the fourth quarter of 2021. The game does not yet have an official release date.
