Will Smith has joined the Fortnite universe. The character of Mike Lowrey, who you may know from The Mad Duo (Bad Boys), has been added to Fortnite’s character/item store.
Epic Games announced the Fortnite x Bad Boys crossoverin a blog post last Saturday, with Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey – along with Miami’s south coast – added to the game as part of the event.

Mike Lowrey’s equipment includes the character’s famous detective bag. Smith’s double-bladed version was also added to the game’s store under the set name The Loose Cannon. If you’re a fan of the Crazy Duo series, I’m afraid we may have some bad news. Will Smith is in the game, but his character’s partner in the film, Marcus Burnett, has not been added.
The addition of Mike Lowrence to Forntnite makes sense in terms of timing. Because the Fortnite season we’re in – season 7 – is the theme of alien invasion, and Will Smith is an actor who has made a habit of fighting aliens on the big screen. So there’s a thought among some actors that if agent J from the Men in Black series or Steven Hiller from Liberation Day had been added instead of the Crazy Duo movie, it might have been more suited to the theme.
