The Assassin’s Creed series has been in our lives for a long time. Things got to the point where we saw a new AC game almost every year. But it seems that Ubisoft does not intend to settle for this, it seems that it has different plans.
Jason Schreier, a prominent figure in the gaming media, shared a major story on Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed on Bloomberg. Accordingly, Ubisoft is looking for ways to transition to a long-term financial return model of games like GTA V and Fortnite, and is preparing to launch assassin’s creed infinity project.
Schreier said: “I’m not going to let you He says that Ubisoft is working under the code name Assassin’s Creed Infinity, that this game, designed as a massive multiplayer platform, will continue to be developed over time, that AC games are already telling stories set in a certain period and geography (Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, etc.), but that expansions are planned to cover other periods in months and years. In a sense, can we say that there is a game that combines all the stories and locations of the series:)
Schreier says the information about the game is still very ambiguous and is still years away from being issued. Ubisoft officials declined to provide details of Infinity, but confirmed the existence of the project. Schreier adds that Ubisoft Montreal and Quebec studios, traditionally responsible for the development of separate AC games, are working together on this project, with the game’s release due in 2024 or later.
In the coming period, we will better understand what awaits us by sharing official information about Infinity; But first, I’d like to hear from you, my dear Gamers. Do you think the Assassin’s Creed series should continue in its current form, or would you rather it become an ongoing gaming service like GTA Online or Destiny? We’ll wait for your comments.
