Streamer Aniplex and developer TYPE-MOON have announced that Witch on the Holy Night, a visual novel for PlayStation 4 and Switch, will be released in the west on December 8. It is currently unknown whether the Western version will be digital-only. All versions of the game will support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese language options.
The description of the game is as follows:
Set in 1980s Japan, Witch on the Holy Night tells the story of fan favorite TYPE-MOON character Aoko Aozaki. With Aozaki, who lives as a high school student, players will experience the exciting origin story of this much-loved character, written by Kinoko Nasu, the famous creator of the Fate series.
With its remarkable visuality, the game will offer a modern gaming experience that will delight TYPE-MOON fans and newcomers to the franchise.
