Assassin;s Creed Valhalla continues on its way with additional packages and updates. Next week’s 1.4.1 update will require installing the game from scratch; this means that there will be an average update of 70 GB.
Although under normal circumstances some updates can be large in size, updates that require you to reinserge the game rarely come. Valhalla’s latest update falls into exactly that category. The reason for this is that; data restructuring.
With this update, some will be saved on the total file size of the game. On the one hand, this means preparation for additional packages coming in the coming period, this data configuration. Also, with this update, there will be a reduction in loading times and an improvement in performance in general, at least that’s what Ubisoft says.
The update also shares approximate values for future file configurations as follows:
File size to download to update from version 1.4.0 to 1.4.1:
- PC ~78GB
- PS4 ~67GB
- PS5 ~40GB
- X1 ~62 GB
- XS ~71 GB
Total area after update 1.4.1:
- PC ~77GB
- PS4 ~75GB
- PS5 ~77GB
- X1 ~63 GB
- XS ~72 GB
Disk space gained as a result of the restructuring:
- PC ~34GB
- PS4 ~30GB
- PS5 ~13GB
- X1 ~30 GB
- XS ~44 GB
Looking at the approximate values shared here, it is possible to say that it will be an update that saves a lot of money, except for the time to spend downloading the update.
