The World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic release date may have been leaked by Blizzard “accidentally”. According to the event that MrGM and WoWhead have noticed, the release date of the game has appeared on the official website of Wrath of the Lich King Classic (WOTLK Classic), albeit briefly.
Minutes later, the website was restored. But that was enough to excite the WoW community. WOTLK was one of the most beloved add-on packs in the history of World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic release date accidentally leaked, site immediately reinstated
It’s not known exactly whether the statement that reads, “The Lich King returns on September 26, 2022,” is incorrect, or a placeholder, or the correct release date posted through an employee’s error. If that’s true, the fourth season of Shadowlands will be released on August 3, and the WOTLK Classic will be released a month and a half later, on September 26. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, which has moved to the second part of the Alpha process, is planned to be released before the end of this year.
WoW Lich King Classic, whose release date was announced at the same time as Dragonflight, will come with some changes under the name of #somechanges, such as increasing the face options and not adding LFG to the game.
