WoW Lich King Classic is set to bring one of legendary MMORPG’s most popular add-on packs to the Classic series. Wrath of the Lich King has become one of the touchstones of the gaming world, with both the antagonist King Arthas and the Icecrown Citadel with mechanics never seen before. As Lich King’s inclusion in the Classic universe approaches, details about the add-on continue to emerge.
WoW Lich King Classic combines technology with classic
One of these details was unearthed by Holly Longdale, executive producer of World of Warcraft Classic. Longdale announced that the barbershop would also be joined by gamers in the add-on package.
As longtime followers and those who have played the series will know, World of Warcraft has always been a pioneer in character customizations. Both the avatar creation screen before starting the game and cosmetic updates in-game were a feature that almost every WoW player used and loved.
Of course, all these cosmetics were made with 2000s technology. By the 2020s, character updates are taking them to the next level with the development of 3D programs and the much more effective operation of video cards.
The World of Warcraft series is known to take a more inclusive line with the Shadowlands add-on. In the Wow Lich King Classic, not only does it include a fan favorite in the game, but it is preparing to present a much more advanced barbershop to the players.
