In a new email to users who are members of the Xbox Live Gold subscription service, Xbox says that starting in October, Xbox 360 games will not be accessible. The service, which offers Xbox One and Xbox 360 games for free every month, now removes Xbox 360 titles from the service.
The email reads: “Starting October 1, 2022, monthly games provided to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members as part of Games with Gold will no longer include Xbox 360 games. However, we will continue to offer Xbox One games and special discounts to members every month.”
This issue will not affect Xbox 360 games that you downloaded or accessed before October 2022. Any Xbox 360 games you used through Games with Gold prior to this date will remain on your Xbox account, regardless of whether you continue with your subscription.
Xbox is sending out emails saying that Games with Gold will no longer include Xbox 360 titles.
The email is a bit confusing but it looks like all future Games with Gold offerings will only include XB1 titles going forward. pic.twitter.com/W8mlEsVKmn
