Xbox Mini Fridge has managed to put its name on the pages of game history as a project that started with a joke but then became a reality. At the end of the Xbox & Bethesda presentation, Phil Spencer took to the stage, waiting for the phrase “one more thing” from him, and indeed, after that sentence, the surprise introduction of Arkane’s new play Redfall.
Normally we would expect the presentation to end this way, the surprise game to be saved for the end. But those who didn’t close the broadcast got another surprise, because Microsoft was actually producing a mini fridge. And 🙂 in xbox series X design
Obviously, this mini fridge looks awfully stylish by design, so it’s a product I’d like to have in my house. The trailer also mentions “Xbox fast cooling architecture,” which, if not a joke, also uses special technology to cool beverages.
And do any of you know what made this refrigerator a reality? In April, a survey was conducted on Twitter marketing account, and various brands faced off one-on-one. The two names that met in the final were Skittles and Xbox.
Aaron Greenberg, xbox chief marketing officer, said that “if you get us to win this survey, we’re going to produce a REAL XBOX SERIES X MINI FRIDGE this year. You read it right. It’s not an April Fool’s joke. It’s not a clickbait,” he said, narrowly beating Skittles, which won 49.5% of the vote with 50.5% of the vote.
This is the refrigerator, the way that promise was kept, 🙂
