Replaced was one of the standout games of the Xbox & Bethesda E3 2021 presentation, which ended recently. Although there are pixel graphics, the team captures a very nice tone in terms of atmosphere and will continue this harmony in action moments. The game will takeus almost 40 years after a nuclear explosion to a city called Phoenix City. We will see clearly throughout the game the impact of Phoenix Corp, which also gave the city its name, on this city. It’s up to us to solve the mystery behind a corrupt company, Phoenix Corp., and to find out the details of how we’re trapped in this body.
When we look at the stories inspired by the game, we see cyberpunk-style movies like Blade Runner 2049, Alien and Upgrade. Combining pixel art style and 80s aesthetics, immersive gameplay awaits us. Developed by Sad Cat Studios and distributed by Coatsink, the game will also come to PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in 2022. Let’s also remember that the game will be added to the Game Pass system as it comes out.
