GamesIndustry president Christopher Dring announced via Twitter that Xbox Series X|S sold more in Europe in February than the PlayStation 5.
Dring added: “I had a great month with the new games coming out. Console sales continue to struggle fiercely with each other. That struggle resulted in xbox series selling more in February. PS5 stock numbers mean it sells less than Xbox Series consoles. It accounts for the majority of Xbox Series X|S sales of Xbox Series S during the month.”
We’ll have the February European market report for you tomorrow, courtesy of GSD. It was a great month for new games. Console sales continue to struggle. PS5 stock levels meant that, for the first time, more Xbox Series consoles were sold out than PS5s (in tracked European markets)
