XPG, which produces ready-made systems, components and peripherals for gamers, esports and tech enthusiasts, announced a new super mid-tower-sized computer case called CRUISER in a statement. The case stands out for its large interior volume, which provides ease of use, as well as its RGB lighting and glass panels, which create a stylish appearance.
Glass Panel Exoskeleton Design
Emphasizing XPG’s mastery of chassis designs, Exoskeleton aims to strike the balance between creating an efficient airflow inside the chassis and delivering an aesthetic ARGB look. With dimensions of 493 x 234 x 466mm (Y x G x D) for comfortable hosting of full-size E-ATX motherboards, the case gives its users a large internal volume as they wish.
Cruiser’s PSU section conveniently accommodates power supplies up to 180mm in length and supports both modular and classic power supply models. Combo drive drawers that allow both HDD and SSD installation can be replaced at any time. Cruiser has 7 horizontal and 2 vertical PCI-E slots and supports graphics cards up to 360mm in length if no radiator is installed on the front.
Impressive ARGB Fans
The XPG CRUISER is covered with glass panels on the front and left side and comes with 3 XPG VENTO 120 ARGB fans to ensure optimal airflow inside the chassis. Creating 45.3 CFM (cubic feet / minute) airflow, these fans can create eye-catching lighting effects thanks to the 9 LEDs on them. Fans that can be controlled by the leading motherboard manufacturers with their own ARGB software also operate extremely quietly with noise rates of only 23dBA. The combination of the case’s glass panels and VENTO fans makes for a stylish and impressive look.
Useful Features
The XPG CRUISER features a high-speed USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C slot on the front, a hybrid audio port and a button that changes the chassis’s RGB lighting. The dust filter placed on the top to keep the inside of the case clean is attached to the case with the help of magnets. This makes it easier to clean the filter and encourages users to clean more often.
Two 2.5″ HDDs or SSDs can be installed under the right panel of the chassis, which is also extremely flexible in storage options. The front combo drive area has room for two 2.5″/3.5″ HDDs or SSDs.
The release date and price of the XPG CRUISER will be announced at a later date.
