XScreen, which was announced last month and launched its Kickstarter campaign yesterday, managed to reach its funding target in just 20 minutes. XScreen, which plugs directly into xbox series S; and thus allows the console to become a portable gaming PC, is really the product of good thinking.
Kickstarter campaign participants can book for just $1 and buy it for $159 instead of the regular price of $249. That’s one of the biggest reasons why the campaign has gained so much attention in such a short period of time.
They set a modest funding target for xScreen and asked for $9650 (13000 Australian dollars). So far, the funds raised have exceeded $65,000.
This device plugs into series S;’s HDMI and USB ports and offers an 11.6-inch IPS display when turned on. The resolution of the screen is 1080p and 60Hz refresh rate, meaning games that support 4K or 120 fps will not be able to display these features on xScreen; Xbox Series X would be a problem, but I don’t think anyone cares about That in Series S.
