Publisher Atari and developers Adamvision Studios and SneakyBox have announced the shoot’em up shooter Yars: Recharged for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Stadia, and Atari VCS. The game will debut on August 23.
In this remastered version of 1982’s Atari classic Yars’ Revenge, shoot from a distance or attack close-up. Fight against up to 60 unique enemies alone or with a friend in the local co-op mode.
Protect yourself against enemies throwing deadly cannons and moving missiles and go on the offensive. Dodge the barrage of fire coming at you and then go on a close-up attack to destroy enemy defenses. Gather enough energy by destroying the enemy’s shields.
