The Epic Games Store is actually quite late for success. In 2020, they started small trials, and in 2021, the performance system came into play in many games. The lack of this system was that your achievements were only coming out of your window, so no one else could hear you. Now, thanks to the My Achievements page, everyone will be able to see your achievements.
The Achievements page has four different privacy level settings. You can open it to everyone, limit it to friends or friends of your friends. The other level is “let me see it alone.”
“All users will have an icon created from the first letter of the username. Anyone who visits your Page will see how many achievements you’ve unlocked at the top of the page, the games you’ve achieved platinum and the XP score.
Going a little deeper, the Achievements tab will list the number of achievements you’ve unlocked, allowing you to view your level of progress per game, your latest unlocked achievement, and whether you’ve reached the Platinum stage (that is, unlocking all achievements). Clicking on any game will lead you to the player’s achievements in that game,” says Epic.
Only when I looked at my own page did I notice that most games with performance characteristics did not appear, I tried to see if it was necessary to run the game once in order for them to be triggered, but again it did not happen. Only games like Kena, Alan Wake Remastered, Hitman 3 appear on the list. I see my achievements in the game, but the success page doesn’t even mention the name of the game. This is also an indication that the Epic Store has more distance to travel.
