Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. (KONAMI) announced today that the much-loved mobile and PC game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links’ online PvP tournament announced details of KC Grand Tournament 2021 (KC GT 2021). The tournament, which begins on May 31st, will pit Duels from all over the world against each other for the grand prize, Dark Magician (Extra Secret Rare).
From today, duels can start to experience the excitement of the tournament by participating in the KC Grand Tournament 2021 Celebration Campaign. All Duels entering the game can get Yusei Fudo’s new UR Shooting Star Dragon card (Legend Foil Rarity) and the specially gifted Shooting Star Road Skill. Duels will also earn 1,000 gems and a total of eight SR and UR tickets, as well as skill tickets that they can use in exchange for a character skill.
KC Grand Tournament 2021 Calendar:
Preparatory Tournament 1. Phase: 31 May – 14 June 2021
Duels will attempt to reach the DLv. Max level by participating in PvP matches at this stage.
Qualifying: 11 – 14 June 2021
Participants who successfully pass the First Phase will try to reach the DP level. The top 128 players in the rankings will be invited to the Main Tournament.
Main Tournament: Stage 1: 17 July 2021

The Duels, who are ranked in the top 128 in the Preliminary Tournament qualifiers, will face the previous season’s KC Cup Champions. The tournaments won by the former champions are: KC Cup September 2019, KC Cup November 2019, KC Cup February 2020, KC Cup April 2020, KC Cup September 2020, KC Cup February 2021 and KC Cup April 2021.
The winner of the KC GT 2021 will be the runner-up and third winner of the Dark Magician (Extra Secret Rare) award. In addition, other in-game rewards await the winners.
