Phantom Liberty, the upcoming major expansion pack of the open-world action game Cyberpunk 2077, will be a paid content. In a recent interview by developer CD Projekt Red, he confirmed previous reports, stating that this DLC will not be free, but will instead charge players a certain amount.
A free update called Edgerunners was previously released for the game. This update includes new items from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. In addition to clothing, the update introduces cross-platform progression, a new Roach Race mini-game playable in arcade arcades, and more.
Phantom Liberty will be a spacious package
Phantom Liberty, the new expansion pack to be released for Cyberpunk 2077, brings a new location to Night City and introduces a new cast of characters. Hollywood star Keanu Reeves reprits the role of Johnny Silverhand.
Reeves, on the other hand, had this to say about the new expansion of the game: “Johnny Silverhand is coming back, and so is I. Get ready for Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming expansion pack ‘Phantom Liberty’. It will be great to play the role of Johnny again, and hopefully in this dark future we will be thrilled to see him succeed once again.”
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for PC and Stadia via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Epic Games, GOG, and Steam. The Phantom Liberty DLC will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2023.
